For frequent traveler Kelly Cameron, the ugly view (photo, above) at the Ramada Plaza Tunis stands out as particularly bad. Why?

“On the other side of the building is a view of the pool and sea,” Cameron told Travel Update from Tunis.

He’ll be seeing that view for a good chunk of time since he’s there for a two-week business trip. The inferior view, however, is the least of Cameron’s problems.

The Ramada, he said, is “in every way inferior.” The food is poor, the Wi-Fi doesn’t work in his room and the gym is a small “hot box” with a water cooler – but no water, he said.

He prefers to stay at the Golden Tulip but a per-diem change ruled out that option.
