Cathay Pacific recently opened a new lounge at London Heathrow Terminal 3. Taking inspiration from the fantastic The Pier First Class lounge in Hong Kong, the one at Heathrow is like a junior version of its bigger brother. I specifically booked a flight from T3 so I would be able to spend time in this lounge.

Ever had an airport lounge all to yourself? Lucky for you, I did and so I decided to spend a few minutes wandering the lounge making a short video.

Come With Me On A Video Tour

This is the first time I have made a video tour of anything so it is literally me wandering around the empty lounge. It is under 5 minutes long and I show you everything there is to see in the main lounge.

A couple of times the staff almost got in the way but that was rare enough. I was quite surprised to have the lounge to myself, so I am glad I took the opportunity to wander and video.

Overall Thoughts

Keep an eye out for my full review of the Cathay Pacific First Class lounge at Heathrow. I plan to cover the decor, the self-service dining, the sit down dining and all the drinks. It really is quite a nice place to spend some time before a flight. Friendly staff, good food and nice drinks always sits well with me.

For now, you can whet your appetite with my review of The Pier First Class lounge in Hong Kong which I absolutely love. That lounge even smells nice which is something I never expected would be such a big deal.
