Do you like Polkas, beer, and sing-alongs? Starwood has a new promotion for eligible stays at participating Munich properties between September 20 and October 5, 2014 that are booked in advance.
Called “Raise a glass to Starpoints”, Starwood is offering up to triple points. If you book at least 3 months in advance you’ll earn three times the Starpoints, two months in advance you’ll earn two times the Starpoints.
Terms vary slightly by hotel, but most are prepaid, non-changeable, and nonrefundable.
Book using promotional code OKTBER.
Here is the online booking link. Select an individual property name first via the drop down, as I noticed that availability looked better than when searching all properties at once.
The participating properties are:
Four Points by Sheraton Munich Olympiapark – 1 night minimum
Four Points by Sheraton Munich Central – 3 night minimum
Le Méridien Munich – 3 night minimum
Sheraton Munich Airport Hotel – 1 night minimum
Sheraton Munich Arabellapark Hotel – 1 night minimum
Sheraton Munich Westpark Hotel – 1 night minimum
The Westin Grand Munich – 1 night minimum
I think this is a nice way to get triple the Starpoints especially since the current triple points offer ends July 31. I don’t usually like to book prepaid stays, but if you know for sure that you’ll be staying at one of these properties during Oktoberfest though, this would be a good way to get Starpoints.
