So I check in at 6pm and I can check out at 6pm? Makes sense! Thanks!

So I check in at 6pm and I can check out at 6pm? Makes sense! Thanks!

Ever roll into bed in Vegas after the sun has broken over the horizon in all its glory!? Your head hitting the pillow as you dread that noon (!?) checkout time more than the dealer who kept drawing face cards at the blackjack table? Well, you might have a new option to silence that knocking of housekeeping too early.

In a press release, Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas is proclaiming is the “first major hotel in the United States to offer a 24-hour checkout program” to its guests so they may “maximize their Las Vegas experience at no extra cost by booking the 24-hour checkout option” on certain suites.

We are very proud to be the first major hotel in the U.S. to offer 24-hour checkout to our guests. It is a simple concept: For example, if a guest checks in at 8 p.m. on a Friday, they will be allowed to enjoy the room until 8 p.m. on their day of departure. We think this is a benefit many of our guests will appreciate and certainly enjoy,” said Daniel R. Lee, CEO of Palms Casino Resort.

The process includes having the hotel guest provide the hotel with a mobile phone number to communicate via text message. On the day of departure, the guest will receive a reminder text about the scheduled departure time (the guest can even check out via text).

24-hour checkout allows our guests to make the most of their visit at Palms and enjoy flexibility with their travel plans, whether that includes enjoying extra time at the pool or staying late to avoid traffic,” said Christopher Joy, Vice President of Hotel Operations at Palms Casino Resort.
