I was wondering if anyone participated in this promotion. It’s no longer active, but the details can be found in this Flyertalk.com thread. I had the Membership Rewards points, and transferred them, mainly for the MQM bonus. If you participated, did you have a positive result? I know the T&C’s state 4 to 6 weeks after the promo ends, but many posters on the FT thread seem to have gotten their bonuses much sooner. Not so much for me. This is the first time I’ve transferred any MR points to SkyMiles, so maybe my experience isn’t atypical. Regular MR to SkyMiles transfer participants, what say you?

Yep. Same here. Registered for promo. Verified in my PROFILE at DELTA that I was registered. Did the transfer and in a split second had 75k miles and 25k MQM and made PM again for 2011! I would call MJ to AMEX MR and get them to manually do the MQM before the end of the year!
Still waiting – my father transferred via Amex over the phone – he is still waiting. I transferred via the internet – still waiting. The 50k transfer is in the account, but the bonus and the MQM’s haven’t arrived, yet.
I called Delta in advance and asked about making sure I was registered for the promotion – twice. Got a yes both times, so I guess i will have to wait. . .
I had a relative transfer their Membership Rewards points to my Skymiles account over the phone with Amex. All of the miles/bonus posted immediately.
I did it via phone with Membership Rewards and right after getting off the phone with them, I logged into Delta.com and it was there already. Instantly. I was amazed.
Instant Silver Medallion all from a single Amex Gold MR 50K bonus after spending $10K. Very nice.

I did the transfer and got the points – all of them, EQM/MQM/Bonus – literally instantly. I was also logged in to my Delta account, I did the transfer from AMEX, logged out/in from Delta and they were there. I was kind of amazed. 🙂
