Another week has gone by and it is time for me to summarize this week’s posts for those who have missed out. Links are provided to each one for curiosity.

This was a quiet week for PYCR as I only published three posts. One post was a card review, one post was some news, and the other was a rant about a particular card issuer.

Review: Chase United Explorer Card

The Chase United Explorer Card is a nice option for United loyalists as well as general travelers. It comes with an earning structure (bonus categories) that most travelers will find useful and a balanced sign-up bonus.

However, the best part about this card is the perks. The Chase United Explorer Card comes with up to four checked bags per trip, 25% off in-flight purchases, priority boarding, and more. The card comes with an affordable $95 annual fee (waived the first year) to counter the perks.

Why I’m Frustrated with American Express Lately

The title says it all for Wednesday / Thursday’s post, which was one of PYCR’s most popular to date. This post recaps Amex’s many gimmicks, limitations, and restrictions and why they frustrate me.

Unfortunately, American Express has placed such limitations on every major part of having a credit card. That includes earning a sign-up bonus, earning rewards, burning rewards, and using perks. With every major part being affected, other issuers’ cards look more attractive by comparison. And as a result, American Express will be losing customers, especially on their more premium cards.

Improvements Coming to the World of Hyatt Website

Friday’s post discussed some improvements that World of Hyatt is making to their website. The most notable improvement has to do with searching for properties. There is also the possibility that World of Hyatt will take the improvements a step further and add more search features. Changes are coming in winter 2019-2020.

I hope that everyone has a great Sunday! Stay posted for more content next week!
