I was recently at the Hong Kong Airport and visited the Plaza Premium Lounge near Gate 1.

There are two Plaza Premium Lounge in Terminal 1, one near Gate 1 and the other near Gate 40.  Note that you will pass by a Plaza Premium First lounge when you visit the lounge near Gate 1.  As a Priority Pass member, you do not have access to this lounge.

To get to the Plaza Premium Lounge, walk a little bit further down the airport.  The Plaza Premium Lounge seemed to be quite popular.  There was a short queue that extended to the outside the lounge.

Check-in went smoothly.  I was able to access the lounge with my Priority Pass membership.  The lounge was quite busy when I visited.

Food Area

The food options were decent.  There were shumai, soups, congee and fruits.  There was also a coffee machine/choice of beverages for guests.

In Summary

The Plaza Premium Lounge in Hong Kong is certainly busy.

There are queues at the check-in desk, and a short queue in the food area.  That said, the lounge is also more spacious than I expected.  It’s a nice and relaxing lounge, and it is one of the better Priority Pass lounges I have visited.

Have you visited this lounge? What’s your impression of the lounge?
