Hi everyone! As many of you may have noticed, my travel writing has been quite sporadic over the past year. It’s been a very busy year for me, from graduating from college to starting my first full-time job! I’m very excited to embark on this new journey of my life, and I’d love to have my travels continue to be a big part of who I am.

Out with the old, In with the new:

The Resort Traveler was a name that I came up with as a 13 year old who wanted to start a TripAdvisor account. The name kind of stuck, but it really isn’t representative of my travel patterns. I mean, I don’t often stay at resorts a lot.

That’s why I’m changing my blog name to Takeoff to Travel (got to love the alliteration!). I’m excited to continue posting and I have a lot of content for you all! My “gap quarter” after college ended has been filled with many trips and experiences that I can’t wait for you all to see!

Some posts up in the lineup include a review on Cathay Pacific’s 777 Business Class, and how I did a college friend trip to Europe with a $326 Basic Economy fare.

Thanks for all of your support over the years, and I hope you enjoy my posts!

Happy travels,

Ty
