BREAKING NEWS:
- LAX baggage handler has been arrested in connection with dry ice explosions x2 and unexploded dry ice “bombs” x2 found at LAX on Sunday and Monday, police say. The suspect, Dicarlo Bennett, 28, has been initially charged with the Sunday incident only and is being held on a $1M bond and faces a charge of possession of a explosive or destructive device near an aircraft. (Note: the criminal complaint may be amended.)
OTHER NEWS:
- Spirit Airlines flight 165 DFW-ATL was forced to return to DFW Tuesday afternoon after flames and smoke were seen INSIDE the cabin a few minutes after a loud explosion was heard. Â One engine was shut down, the plane landed safely at DFW and the passengers were put on another aircraft with no injuries reported.
