World of Hyatt’s latest promotion is slightly better than the previous one, earn 40% more points when you purchase at least 5,000 points. Last such promotion offered 40% bonus with minimum a purchase of 10K points. The current Hyatt 40% bonus promotion ends on December 31, 2019.

Unlike previous iteration of tiered bonuses, this promotion adds a flat 40% bonus on the transaction, when you purchase 5,000 points or more. This is a great way to top-up an account towards the next award night. Note that the yearly limit on purchased points per account is 55,000.
With a 40% bonus, a minimum purchase of 5,000 points would yield a total of 7,000 points and cost $120. Or you can maximize the promotion by buying 55K (+22K Bonus) for $1320 USD, at 1.71 cpp. This is good value to top up your accounts for an upcoming stay or buy up to 77K points for a high end redemption.

This iteration of the Hyatt 40% bonus is as good a public offer I have seen and would recommend buying with a specific use in mind.
