Japan Airlines have some great Australia to Europe fares available right now in Premium Economy. These are available from various cities down under to various destinations in the old world.

The fares are especially noteworthy as Japan Airlines offer lounge access to all Premium Economy customers. This is unique in the oneworld alliance and that plus amenities such as complimentary slippers and the renowned Japanese service makes for a world leading on board product.

Great Australia to Europe Fares

As advertised on the Japan Airlines web site, you can get tickets for as low as AU$2,243 return. For all the additional comfort and perks, this is fantastic. The only caveat is that you need to overnight in Tokyo both ways, not much of an issue considering how much there is to do in that vibrant city.

When you click the link, the pre-filled out destination is Helsinki and clicking through shows a fare very close to the sale price. Cities such as Dublin are also included, for AU$2,349 return as you can see below.

Other cities are included such as flights to London, Paris, Frankfurt, Stockholm and Amsterdam to mention but a few. You can originate in the major Australian state capitals, such as Sydney, Melbourne, Hobart, Canberra and so on.

Overall Thoughts

Remembering the Japan Airlines flights from Sydney to Dublin are AU$2,349, how much of a saving is it compared to the competition? It’s more than HALF the price of the competition.

British Airways are charging just over AU$5,000 for their flights, and Qantas are coming in at AU$5,475. Considering neither offer lounge access for Premium Economy passengers (or slippers!), you’d be mad not to go via Tokyo. Even if you had to pay for a hotel overnight each way, you’re still coming out far, far ahead.

What do you think of these Japan Airlines fares? Have you flown them in Premium Economy before? Thank you for reading and if you have any comments or questions, please leave them below.
