I’ve been flying with Delta Airlines for several years now but every time I fly into Atlanta for work I never get the chance to go sightseeing. On a recent work trip, I had a few hours to spare before my flight departed and I decided to explore the Delta Airlines Museum Tour.

Location
The Delta Airlines Museum is located next to Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. The address is 1060 Delta Blvd, Atlanta, GA 30354. Luckily, I was staying at the Renaissance Concourse Atlanta Airport Hotel and drove to the Delta Air Museum in about 3 minutes.

Wednesday: Closed to visitors

747 Experience Hours

Delta Airlines Museum Tour
I got to the museum around 11:00 am and I was surprised there was barely anyone inside. It made taking photos and vlogging much easier for me.

The 747 Experience
The 747 Experience is located outside of the Delta Airlines Museum. It’s an approximately 10-minute walk. In addition, it’s a separate ticket cost from Delta Air Museum but well worth it!

Final Thoughts
I didn’t know what to expect coming into the Delta Airlines Museum but it was fun and interactive. It had great detailed information about their history and fun facts that I never knew about Delta Airlines. It took me about an hour and 20 minutes from start to finish and that included the 747 experience. If you have a 4 hour or later layover in Atlanta, I would highly recommend checking out the Delta Airlines Museum.
