In the spirit of Cyber Monday 2014 many hotels programs and properties are rolling out specials. For those who would like to slip into a hotel branded robe to remind you of that trip to Hawaii or don’t have any travel planned but know someone who’d love a pair of fluffy hotel branded slippers can buy those online too. Many Hyatt at Home items are on sale, some up to 50% percent off. Hilton’s Holiday Home sale lists everything at 30% off.

Hyatt Tweeted that they’ve got items up to 75% off, though their sale page so far today still indicates up to 50% off. Here’s a link to their sale.

There are linens, duvets, bathrobes and even shaving items.

Also, when buying items online today (and every day) I strongly suggest through a shopping portal whenever possible.

A portal finder such as evreward.com or cashbackmonitor.com can help you decide which shopping portal makes the most sense for you.

For example, if I wanted to buy something at Nordstrom, evreward would tell me that I’d earn 4 Marriott Rewards points if I used their Shop My Way portal to make the purchase.

Many shopping portals are offering increased points earnings today too, so even if your preferred program hasn’t offered great points earnings for a particular merchant in the past they might have updated it for today.
