Delta Comfort Plus Showing Free At Check-In??

Delta’s Giving Free Comfort Plus?! DO TELL!

Well, I was checking in for my flight tomorrow, and on the corner of seat selection it says “FREE” under Comfort Plus! I don’t have Medallion status, only Alaska MVP, and the partnership has ended so I was shocked to see that. Plus, even with MVP when the partnership was still going on I don’t think one got Comfort Plus at check-in. I did book early enough to still get Alaska miles on the other hand.

Too good to be true right?

Yes….In fact, when I hovered over to choose the Comfort Plus seat, it says “$99”. Immediately, I contacted Delta’s Twitter handle, and they did indeed say the “free” was an error.

No extra legroom for me 🙁

Any one else getting this “free” message at check-in?
