Qatar Airways are having a business class sale at the moment to celebrate their 20th Anniversary. There are other fares on sale also, but the business class sale fares are particularly excellent.

As the current holder of the World’s Best Business Class from Skytrax, bagging a deal and flying it is well worth while. I have raved about it on more than one occasion in reviews. Let’s have a look at the deals.

Terms and Conditions First

In order to take advantage of the business class sale fares, you need to book for two passengers. A single traveller will not be able to take advantage of the deal. It is referred to on the Qatar site as an “incredible Companion Offer” and it pretty much is.

Tickets need to be booked by Friday, 10 November and you can travel up to 31 October 2018. There are blackout dates which are 15 December 2017 through to 10 January 2018 and then 7 June to 10 September 2018.

Business Class Sale Fares

Flying out of Europe, the best fares are from Stockholm. For a change, it is not just New Zealand with the best fares – this time Australia is included as well. When booking through the Stockholm sale page, you will find the fare is 29,694 SEK from Stockholm to Sydney for two people return. This is €1,515 each which is a fantastic deal.

You would fly the Boeing 787 from Stockholm to Doha and then switch to the Airbus A380 for the Doha to Sydney flight. If you wish to try out the world’s longest flight, you can go to Auckland for only a few Euro extra.

Originate Elsewhere

There are other places in Europe where you can start your journey. For example there are competitive deals from Athens and Berlin to destinations such as Johannesburg, Tokyo and Hong Kong.

It is really handy if you are a oneworld frequent flyer as your Qatar Airways flights will earn miles and points in other alliance programmes.

Overall Thoughts

As the excellent fares are restricted to two people travelling, I won’t be able to take advantage of them. However, if you are travelling as a pair and need to travel from Europe to Australia, the Far East or South Africa you’d be mad not to take advantage of these.

Qatar Airways have an excellent on board product in business class and I highly recommend them. If you have any comments or questions, please leave them below.
