We’ve been waiting for years for a new British Airways Club lounge at JFK International Airport. Honestly, the old one was a bit tired and fell behind the offerings of competitors. Well, the wait is over! British Airways’ New York City passengers can now relax in a beautiful, contemporary Club lounge that spans more than 22,000 square feet. 

What will you find?

The revitalized lounge is sleek and contemporary with clean lines and neutral colors. Passengers can choose from a variety of elegant, relaxed seating areas where they can chat, catch up on the latest news or relax.

Work or relax in style and comfort while you wait for your flight. As expected, ample work stations offer power outlets, perfect for last-minute edits on work projects or for firing off a few emails before your flight departs.

You’ll find good options for pre-flight relaxation. Interested in a massage or music? Try the reopened Elemis Spa or the entertainment room with state-of-the-art entertainment and sound from Sony.

For passengers who would rather sleep than dine while jetting across the Atlantic, the Club Lounge offers fresh dishes from an extensive menu in a brasserie-style dining room or “grab and go” meals. That makes it easier to sink into the comfortable, flat beds onboard without worrying about your sleep being disturbed.

Love fine wines and whiskies? During peak travel times, an experienced bartender is available in the Club Lounge’s granite-topped Quaich Bar, created in partnership with the Quaich Bar at the Craigellachie Hotel in Speyside, Scotland.

Starting May 1, try a Speedbird 100 in the BrewDog craft beer room. The beer, brewed specially for British Airways, is named after its flight call sign.

Enhanced facilities are part of major investment

The JFK Club lounge, the airline’s flagship US lounge, is the third to feature a new, sleek, contemporary design. It follows on the heels of redesigned lounges in Aberdeen Scotland and Rome, Italy.

The new lounge is part of the airline’s £6.5 billion customer investment program. With the addition of the JFK Club Lounge, the airline has now completed £50 million in investment projects.
