I’ve written a couple of posts on the relationship between Royal Caribbean, MGM M Life, and Hyatt over the last few weeks. There have been quite a few questions surrounding the benefit, and a good bit of information is already out there on the message boards, including some indications that to get the M Life benefits, you’ll need to present yourself in Vegas. That did not prove to be the case in my experience.

I signed up for M Life just like anyone else at the mlife.com website. Check the upper right corner, and you will see a “Join Now” button.

That brought me to a screen where I enter my email address.

After clicking submit, I was taken to another screen where I reconfirmed my email address and entered all the usual information for joining a program. With that, I was sent to a confirmation page where I had to enter a code I received via email.

After that was done, I clicked on “Contact Us” at the bottom of the page.

I emailed comments@mlife.com and simply said the following.

Hello. I am a Royal Caribbean Diamond Plus Crown & Anchor member. I just joined M Life, and I understand that I may be eligible for more benefits due to my Diamond Plus status. My M Life number is XXXXXXXX. My C&A member number is XXXXXXXXX. Is there a step that I need to take to link the two accounts in order to receive M Life benefits?

As of August 4, 2013, I have not received a response to this, but I signed into my M Life account on the same day, and can see that I have now been awarded Platinum Status in M Life.

I cannot promise you’ll have the same experience I did, but I think it’s worth a try. Now, I’m going to need to find a way for MrsMJ and I to get to Vegas sooner rather than later.
