US Airways is once again offering a PQM bonus for joining the US Airways Club. Head over to the enrollment page and enter promotional code PQM5K. Alternatively, enter promotional code USCLB and they will waive the normal $50 dollar initiation fee. The 2 offers cannot be combined. You must choose one or the other. I’d roll with the 5,000 PQMs if I were looking to join the club, but that’s just me.
Terms and Conditions: “Offer valid July 17 – 20, 2012. Offer only available to Dividend Miles Preferred Members (Chairman’s, Platinum, Gold and Silver). Valid for new US Airways Club annual memberships and current US Airways Club memberships that are eligible for renewal. New club members and club members renewing that use promotion code ‘PQM5K’ will receive 5,000 bonus Preferred-qualifying miles. New club members and club members renewing that use promotion code ‘USCLB’ will receive discounted membership pricing. For new club member enrollments, the $50 initiation fee will be waived. ‘PQM5K’ and ‘USCLB’ cannot be combined in this offer. This offer cannot be combined with any other offer. When enrolling or renewing online please allow up to 7 days for processing. All US Airways Club and Dividend Miles terms and conditions apply.”
I just tried to buy one and they are sold out. But thanks for the tip!
Every time I see something like this it reminds me of what a great offer that United Club card was ($395/yr with first year fee waived). Maybe they will offer it again.
Drat! They NEVER offer this kind of sign up when my account is close to expiration (February ). I guess I need to let it lapse for a while and wait for one of these super sign up bonuses!
I would go for the points too! $175 for 5,000 points at the moment so…surely the better deal!
