1) I don’t have time to fly to Hong Kong at any price, really, I don’t.
2) I rarely get excited about “mistake” fares because they never happen at the right time for me.
3) I’d rather spend those 4 miles on something else.
There you have it….the top 3 reasons I don’t care about the United 4 mile thing. Seriously, for those of you that were able to take advantage of it, more power to you. I’m proud of you. ๐

I agree with all the above. I was excited about the deal, but when I thought about how fun it would be to put up with Hong Kong’s sticky summer heat, all the joy and excitement dissipated. Besides, Hong Kong isn’t even one of my favorite places to visit. On the contrary, I actually dread visiting the place. You would have to pay to visit the place before I even spend spend a penny to hop on that A21 towards the city–let alone a $29 fare. Haha. Joke or not, I agree with all 3 of the above. Maybe if they paid me I’ll go to China / HK. I’d rather see Japan, Korea, Singapore first and I just don’t have the time.
