The dreaded “Monday morning flight home” from Vegas.  It starts with a crowded TSA line, that is assuming you were even successful finding a taxi to the airport to begin with.  You down your liter of H2O from the quick-store and seem to move in slow motion from stowing your carry-on to eventually finding your car in your home airport economy lot.  Then there’s those who chose to take the extra long route home.

Per an FBI press release, a 24-year-old man from Thornton, CO pled guilty and was sentenced Monday for misdemeanor assault of a Spirit Airlines flight attendant.

His original arrest stemmed from a Monday morning flight on April 8, 2013 from Las Vegas (LAS) to Denver International Airport (DEN) when the man was allegedly served several alcoholic drinks, became loud, used profane language, and physically harassed one of the flight attendants, including deliberately groped her and saying, “Oh sexy,” according to prosecutors.

Sitting in federal court in Denver, U.S. Magistrate Judge Craig B. Shaffer sentenced the man to serve two years’ probation and ordered him to attend alcohol counseling.

I would have thought a letter of apology would have been nice, too.  Just sayin’.
