I’m 115 days away from my Quantum of the Seas cruise. To say I’m pretty stoked about this new Royal Caribbean ship would be an understatement. While the name “Quantum” didn’t immediately whisper “cruise ship” in my ear, everything I’ve learned since the announcement of her name has me intrigued. While Quantum of the Seas will be no where near as large as her fleet siblings in the Oasis Class, she still represents a significant step forward in cruise ship design, and in the Royal Caribbean cruising experience in particular.
While this will not be my first post about Quantum of the Seas, it will be my first Quantum of the Seas “Countdown” post. We are just days away from “float out” at the Meyer-Werft shipyards, and 115 days away from boarding an awesome new ship. đŸ™‚  Yes, I’ll be blogging about the entire experience. In the meantime, here’s a sample of what we have to look forward to.
