The storm system that pummeled parts of the central US over the last day or so is headed towards the world’s busiest airport, the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. Currently, the weather is pretty tame in Atlanta, but that could change this evening and into tomorrow with forecasters sounding all kinds of ominous warnings for potential strong storms that could include tornado activity. While Delta and Southwest/AirTran flyers are likely to experience the biggest disruptions, anyone flying this way should keep an eye on the weather this evening and into tomorrow. Stay safe.
