After landing on a taxiway rather than a runway, Han Harrison Ford will not be fined and may retain his pilot’s license “without restriction” according to his lawyer, ABC News reports.
“I don’t know… fly casual.”
Ford had admitted to air traffic control he’d been a “schmuck” for landing on the taxiway. “I was distracted by the airline which was in movement when I turned to the runway and also the big turbulence by the landing Airbus.” The air traffic controller went on to tell Ford to take his time finding his pilot’s licence, adding that it is “no big deal.” To which Ford replied, “It’s a big deal for me.”
“Fly? Yes. Land? No.”
While no official FAA action has been taken against Ford, his lawyer said he has agreed to voluntarily undergo airman counseling.
