Well, it’s almost time to cruise. You’ve got your ship’s boarding pass printed, and heck, you may even be packed by now!!! Other than finishing your packing, you’re almost all set. One little thing – Many cruise lines no longer provide pre-printed bag tags. They provide the ability for you to print them yourself at home. Theoretically, they can be folded and stapled around the handle of your luggage. Works fine. Me being me…. I picked up some clear plastic luggage tag holders from favorsbyserendipity.com. Ours say Live – Love – Cruise….. yeah, I know. đŸ˜€
If you don’t print your own, the porters who collect your baggage can handwrite some just for you, and that works just fine too. Don’t sweat it. Alright…time to start getting excited. It’s almost time to set sail. I’ll be back with Cruising with MJ – Embarkation Day (It’s Time to Play) on Friday.

Our luggage tags w/suite# and deck# still come in our cruise dox, we affix (they have peal off tape with two sticky sides) them to our luggage on checkout day/embarkation day from the hotel or when we pick up our luggage (e.g. next Wednesday morn at Ft. Lauderdale airport) prior to heading to port everglades for our crossing (FLL to Lisbon).

I print mine on heavier photo type paper I color and then staple them to everything including my carry on stuff. Works great.
I print mine, fold them and then take them to Staples to be laminated with a hole punched in them to attach to my luggage. I also print some extras and bring some packing tape with me so I can stick it on a 12 pack of soda and have it delivered to my cabin with my luggage.
