I’ve been banking with Bank of America since the NCNB and NationsBank days. BofA is not a big player in the rewards card space, but they do offer the Alaska Air Visa as well as the BankAmericard Travel Rewards Visa, which I have. It doesn’t see much use, but it is free of an annual fee and serves as overdraft protection for my checking accounts. One thing that catches my eye from time to time are the BankAmeriDeals that BofA offers to its customers. These are cash back deals that you have to use an eligible BofA card (credit or debit) to take advantage of. They’re not necessarily great, but I did take advantage of a 15 percent cash back offer from Uber a few months back.

I get emails on the deals occasionally, and this one caught my eye.

I can think of better points earning possibilities than 10 percent cash back, but everyone has different priorities. Cash back is cash back, but there are limits. Here are the terms that popped up when I registered for the offer.

So the max you’re going to get back is $50 bucks….but…it’s $50 bucks. 🙂 YMMV. If you’re a Bank of America customer, there’s no harm in signing up to receive BankAmeriDeals. Occasionally, a good one pops up.
