Munich is the newest destination for British Airways travellers from London City Airport. Yes, the Bavarian beer capital is easier to access than ever with three flights a day between London City and Munich. Fares start at £64, based on a return journey and no checked baggage.
The Schedule
Outgoing flights are offered at 8:10 a.m., 4:35 p.m. and 9:25 p.m. Return flights to London City are scheduled at 6:45 a.m., 1:25 p.m. and 6:10 p.m.
With this new Munich service, the airline now offers four German routes from London City. British Airways also increased frequency to Berlin from Docklands Airport. Eighteen flights are offered weekly.

Ideal for Business and Leisure Travelers
“Germany is such an important destination for both business and leisure customers, so the addition of Munich to our schedule has been welcomed by everyone who flies from London City,” said Luke Hayhoe, British Airways’ general manager commercial and customer. “With well-timed frequent flights, there are plenty of options for customers who either want to do a day trip or stay for longer. Munich complements our existing flights to Berlin, Dusseldorf and Frankfurt and means that we now fly 82 return flights a week to Germany this winter. The new route will increase the number of British Airways’ destinations from London City Airport to 34.”

Upgrades
British Airways is investing £6.5 billion to improve its customer experience over the next five years, including new aircraft, new cabins, new catering, new lounges, WiFi and new routes.
