I wrote my take on it but for me I don’t think it’s that big of a deal, at least for me. I can understand why some frequent travelers would be really upset by it, since it IS a fundamental shift on how miles are earned, but it’s just going to move (even more) mile earning from actually flying to credit card spending, which seems to be what the airlines want anyways.
