Atlanta Gets Another PreCheck Lane

Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport will soon receive a 5th TSA PreCheck lane according to ajc.com.

A new “trusted traveler” lane will open Tuesday at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport’s domestic terminal north security checkpoint, adding another path for qualified frequent travelers to take for expedited security.

The new lane at the airport’s North checkpoint will make things slightly more convenient for American and United (those flying from the T Concourse), shaving a minute or two off the walk from the South checkpoint. PreCheck has been a big deal for this ATL flier, saving me tremendous amounts of time. And now that PreCheck is online at Raleigh-Durham International, life is really good. 🙂

If you get to the airport for a 6am flight there is no precheck and the line goes out the door. Be prepared to wait 45 minutes with everyone else for a full screening.
